I have a dev Joomla installation that is set offline. Was able to pull some results out of the community version.
However, later, when I logged out of the front end, I discovered that amp pages can still be opened. Why is that? Everything is supposed to show me a login window, no matter what I try to open.

Hi

Indeed that's not something we check, as one would need to know the site URL to get access to the AMP version, and basically it was never reported to us in the last 9 months!

We'll add this check and redirect to a standard page if site is offline, in next version. In the mean time, if this is a problem, I would suggest simply disabling the plugin when you are not working on it.

Hi

Getting back to you because I looked at this just now, and I can't reproduce this behavior actually (which is probably why it was never reported!).

Putting the site offline, AMP pages are indeed blocked as well, and the login page is displayed for me. My previous answer was too quick. We do not interfere with Joomla offline and ACL checks, they go on as normal, so all should be

Hmm. Wanted to send you links to my dev site - it marks it as spam

Okay - I must have some other issues. Glad that it works as supposed to. Funny thing - I cannot replicate a 'good' behavior on my end.

Hi

Be sure to fully clear your browser cache. Chrome can do that sort of things.

I tried it in different browsers as well as in Chrome's incognito mode. Go figure.
