is it possible modify the Resend Joomla! activation email plugin slightly to create an area in the front end where users enter their email address again and it resends the confirmation email that way? Rather than it just being available to administrators?

Hi

We have given some thougths to that but it's actually really a lot of work as we need to add a front-end facing display, messages, error handling, etc
So currently we have no plan on developing this feature.
