I know very little about SEO, and the documentation about sh404SEF is way too technical for my knowledge.

However, I've read plenty of articles that tell you changing URLs is just about the worst thing you can do from an SEO perspective, and I've experienced this phenomenon myself in the past.

Obviously, sh404SEF is meant to improve SEO, so can anyone put my mind at rest that using this component will improve things rather than hinder them?
