Hello,
I have a joomla 3.6.2 version and have two issues to resolve. I would like to know if I can resolve them with sh404SEF:
1. url: sitename.com/category/subcategory/article.html
Can I with sh404SEF make that the url shown will be sitename.com/category/article.html even though article is in the subcategory of category?

2. I need urls for categories to be in the form of "sitename.com/category/" without suffix ".html" but for articles i want with suffix ".html", for example "sitename.com/category/article.html"

Can this be achieved through UI interface of sh404SEF ?

Hi

Assuming we are talking about Joomla standard content (com_content), yes, both situations are covered.

1 - There are multiple options to select categories inclusions:

In your case, "only top one" should do what you want
2 - This is the standard way of handling categories in sh404SEF.

Let me jump onto this topic.
My sh404sef somehow leaves the category URL without the ".html". I cannot remember when and if I changed something in the settings. I would like to get the ".html" back. But I can't find the right point I need to look at.

Joomla 3.6.2
