Hi,

Artio JoomSEF has issues with Joomla 3.7 and newer. They stopped supporting it, that's why I would like to change to another SEF extension.
Can you tell me if I can make the same url's with sh404SEF as I have now with Artio JoomSEF?

Regards

Hi

We do not have a URL import for JoomSEF feature at the moment. As for retaining the same URLs, most likely you should be able to do that by using the settings we have for URL structure, and it should be pretty close. If not, you can always manually customize them to match exactly. Finally, if some are not exactly the same, you will find them in the 404 manager, meaning you'll be able to decide and redirect them to an existing URL easily.
This process of redirecting 404 can also be made automatic, with our "try to redirect 404" feature, which looks for a URL similar to a 404, and redirect if found.

It really depends on your site, and I would suggest you simply give it a try. Then we can evaluate with support how best to handle your specific case.

Hi

This is an update to let you know that due to rising demand, we have now added an Importer for URLs, meta data and redirects for both JoomSEF and MijoSEF. You can see how it workson its documentation page here.

Best regards
