Hello Weeblr!

I have switched my JOOMLA page to https/SSL. Now many of my blog posts like their facebook likes because the URL has changed from http to https - of course.

Is there a way to use 404SEF to pull the corresponding "http-likes" for the old pages/posts which existed before the shift? I would be willing to manually edit all these URLs if this can be achieved with 404SEF.

Hi

There is no way to achieve this with sh404SEF. The only way I have heard of is to actully set the canonical URL for those old URLs to the http version. Thay may get the likes count back, but of course would anhihilate the SEO benefits of switching to HTTPS.
